Job Description
Join the team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker! Our warehouse operations are essential in ensuring that our stores receive products promptly for our growing customer base. As a part-time position with fewer than 30 hours per week, you will play a key role in receiving, selecting, and delivering stock efficiently. Working in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, you will contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to optimize processes.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate concern for quality and safety, collaborate effectively with the team, maintain a positive attitude, and drive for success.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments, including outdoor and refrigerated.
