1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and shipping merchandise efficiently to our stores. You will collaborate with your team members and warehouse leadership to maintain product quality, safety standards, and achieve warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and suggest process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Driven for success and efficient execution of tasks.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in variable temperatures and physically demanding environments.
