Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment to stores. Your duties will include stock selection, merchandise handling, inventory counts, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
- Perform general cleaning tasks and warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
- Provide input for process improvements and product quality assurance.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement for employment is 18 years.
- Demonstrated ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with a team, maintain a positive attitude, drive for success, and execute tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
