1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a vital role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. As a Warehouse Worker, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, supporting the movement and organization of merchandise to meet our operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Movement of merchandise for deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities in warehouse settings.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
