Job Description
We are looking for a reliable 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the team at Aldi. As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for various duties such as receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments. You will collaborate with your peers and supervisors to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality and report any concerns to management.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, and resilience.
- Drive for success and efficiency in warehouse tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
