Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies while safeguarding confidential information.
- Carry out assigned tasks diligently.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and adhering to company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient multitasker.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience is considered.
