Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As our Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, improving overall store performance, developing operational action plans, and nurturing the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operational results.
  • Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in interviewing store personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when needed.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Operational and budgeting knowledge.
  • Experience in retail, with management experience preferred.
