Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join Aldi's team. As our Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, improving overall store performance, developing operational action plans, and nurturing the growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operational results.
- Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Participate in interviewing store personnel.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when needed.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Operational and budgeting knowledge.
- Experience in retail, with management experience preferred.
