Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and clean store environment, and collaborating with team members to ensure the best shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required for the role.
- Process customer purchases efficiently, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to store management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document and data security.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper operation of store equipment.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
