Job Description
As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive work environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash registers and equipment
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
