Job Description
Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Enhance the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional service and collaborating with the ALDI team.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above
- Operate a cash register efficiently
- Safely use equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Meet any state requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
