Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Conduct store inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and report any issues to management
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company policies and procedures
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
