Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and delivers exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Handle customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies ensuring security and confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Customer service and cash register experience
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
