Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a key team member, you will be responsible for various in-store operations such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold our standards of exceptional customer service and contribute to the efficient functioning of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, follow instructions, and pay attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
