Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Participate in inventory management tasks and monitor accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of data and documents.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
