Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides excellent customer service. This is a Full-Time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in your role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow company standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience is considered.
