Job Description
We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
- Ability to operate store equipment safely and correctly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is an advantage
