Actuarial Analyst Senior

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Actuarial Analyst Senior to join our team at USAA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and performing actuarial analyses to support the development of new products, project future results, reprice existing products, and ensure financial strength. You will work autonomously on moderately complex to complex assignments and collaborate with a team to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

• Apply proficient knowledge of the business, products, and processes
• Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management
• Identify critical experience areas, suggest remedies, and test pricing assumptions
• Resolve issues, serve as a resource, and adhere to USAA Actuarial Program Guidelines
• Ensure effective identification, measurement, and control of risks in accordance with policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 additional years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience
• 4 years of Actuarial/business/analytical experience + CAS exams: 1, 2, 3F, MA S-I, and MA S-II + all VEEs
• Strong knowledge of Excel and at least one programming language
• Demonstrated experience with actuarial pricing methodologies and analytics visualization
