Community Bank President/Ag Lender

Job Description

Bank Iowa Corporation is seeking a talented Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join our dynamic team in Newton. In this role, you will be responsible for generating quality Ag and Commercial loans, leading a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants, and representing Bank Iowa within the community. You will play a pivotal part in growing and maintaining the bank's portfolio while actively participating in civic and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
• Actively participate in community business development to achieve loan and deposit growth goals.
• Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, building strong client relationships and fostering business growth.
• Approve loans within specified limits and refer applications outside those limits to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of lending and banking experience.
• Strong Agriculture background preferred.
• Extensive supervisory and management experience.
• Ideal candidates will have leadership, credit analysis, underwriting, and proven sales experience.
