Electrical Engineer III

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering design software.
• Apply electrical engineering principles and techniques to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and engineers for equipment design and maintenance.
• Research, analyze, and design products or systems for optimal performance.
• Direct engineering personnel, fabrication, and installation activities.
• Recommend design modifications and ensure compliance with specifications.

Technical Skills Required

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design or modify electrical controls to enhance machinery productivity.
• Programming and troubleshooting controls, particularly Mitsubishi PLC's.
• Perform calibration and troubleshoot PLC and Servo programs.
• Interface with vendors, manage projects, and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
• Experience in utilities, instrumentation, and CAD programming is a plus.
