Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Program/Project Management Senior to participate in Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) Fellowship Cohort 24-2 with USAA. As a participant in the Military Fellowship Program, you will facilitate and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of moderately complex non-IT work efforts, collaborating with key stakeholders, vendors, and project/program teams to achieve strategic business goals. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities, monitoring project execution, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the success of workforce development programs that empower transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses.
Responsibilities
- Drive implementation of low to moderately complex work efforts, ensuring achievement of program milestones.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for work efforts, monitoring and reporting business objectives and key indicators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights and creative solutions to challenges.
- Manage project budgets, identify best practices, and drive process improvements.
- Participate in communication with stakeholders, manage risk, and ensure changes are embraced within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience.
- 6 years of project or program management experience, including planning and tracking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in supporting projects with complex deliverables and risk management.
- Current participant in Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship Program Cohort 24-2.

- Competitive salary range: $99,160 - $189,530.
