Job Description

We are hiring an Internal Medicine Pharmacist to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. This role involves serving as the Pharmacy PGY1 Associate Residency Program Director and providing clinical services to the Internal Medicine rounding teams. The position requires overseeing the Pharmacy Postgraduate Year 1 program, collaborating with Pharmacy Leadership, and contributing to the Graduate Medical Education Residency Programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the Pharmacy PGY1 program.
• Provide educational support in pharmacotherapy and preceptor development.
• Supervise pharmacy residents and ensure completion of residency objectives.
• Collaborate with GME department and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm).
• PGY1 training or 3 years of acute care experience.
• Current Pharmacist License in the State of Florida.
• Strong knowledge of hospital information systems and Microsoft Office.
