Job Description
We are looking for the right Nurse Practitioner to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and perform a focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. It is essential to note that the Nurse Practitioner does NOT make disability determinations; the United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations. This position will only perform Disability Assessments on Veterans and will not involve treating or prescribing medications.
Schedule: Full-Time (8am-4pm)
Key Attributes:
- Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments.
- Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
- Skilled in time management and able to stay on task to meet requirements.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Proficient in using a computer.
Requirements
- Must have a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
