Job Description

We are looking for a talented Preferred Accounts Manager to join the Johns Manville Corp, a leading manufacturer of insulation and commercial roofing products. As part of the Preferred Accounts team, you will be responsible for managing business development, selling efforts, and account management activities for key clients. You will work closely with internal sales teams to develop strategies for increasing business with both new and existing Preferred Account clients.


  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner for clients.
  • Identify and convert prospect accounts into long-term JM Preferred Account clients.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts to increase share.
  • Support sales teams and partners by driving JM position and preference.
  • Provide enhanced services to match client value chains and ensure superior satisfaction.


  • Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Experience in business development and national account sales.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

  • Experience with national/regional commercial building owners and specifiers.
