Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in partnership with the Health & Wellness Directors to support the overall clinical operations of the assigned communities. This position involves oversight of compliance with safety and infection control programs, clinical quality assurance, and implementing consistent practices for nursing and care staff. The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise, education, mentorship, and support for the overall management and leadership of the communities to ensure high standards for quality resident care are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day clinical functions of the communities including the development and implementation of department policies and procedures.
  • Be involved in the development and implementation of Wellness programming at all communities.
  • Provide clinical expertise, leadership, education, and mentorship to Health & Wellness Directors and Memory Care Directors within each community.
  • Build out and train all clinical staff on the EHR (ALIS).
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and supervising of nursing and care staff.
  • Complete monthly clinical audits to ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with the sales and leasing team to assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and sales objectives to ensure full occupancy.
  • Oversee training and support with clinical assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field; or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality industry.
  • Experience managing a P&L.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing individuals or teams.
  • Strong management or leadership background in managing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and work proactively in the creation and management of operational solutions resulting in organizational success.
  • Outstanding business acumen with excellent analytical skills in addition to financial, operational, and strategic marketing capabilities.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to bring individuals together and function as a positive and effective mentor.
  • Experience in senior living preferred.
  • Current State/Federal/Local required certification or license to manage a community a plus.
  • Experience leading sales teams preferred.
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Willingness to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends when necessary.

Compensation Details

Yearly Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
