We are looking for an experienced Senior Mortgage Lender to join Civista Bank. As a Senior Mortgage Lender, you will play a key role in originating first mortgage loans, building relationships with the real estate community, and catering to the financial needs of our community. Key Responsibilities

• Travel to solicit first mortgage and home equity loans through referral partners and community activities.
• Meet with customers at various locations and guide them through the loan application process.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and government regulations.
• Screen loan requests, propose loan options, and communicate decisions to borrowers.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to policies.
• Promote bank programs, participate in community activities, and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five years of Mortgage Lending experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking industry practices, compliance, and Fair Lending laws.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and spreadsheet management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
