1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. As a valued member of our warehouse team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas and participate in a comprehensive training and safety program to equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, and follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
