Brief Description: The Executive Director, Late Development Team Lead is a critical role in overseeing the late product lifecycle of a product or platform of products in the biopharmaceutical industry. This position requires strategic and operational leadership to progress and de-risk products from proof of concept to approval, coordinating with various functional areas to ensure successful product development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the leader of cross-functional Late Development Teams, guiding product strategy and execution.
- Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans and oversee contributions for regulatory filings.
- Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to functional matrix teams.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to optimize product value and alignment with company goals.
Requirements
- +15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
- Proven leadership in late-stage drug development and regulatory submissions.
- Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills in a matrix team environment.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
