Medical Science Liaison

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as the primary field-based scientific expert for our products in the area of Sleep Medicine/Neuroscience. As an MSL, you will establish and maintain scientific relationships with medical professionals, develop pipeline compounds, support research, and provide scientific support at congress meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific exchange and communication of FDA approved and pipeline products.
• Identify and maintain relationships with opinion leaders.
• Support clinical operations and investigator-initiated research.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Document adverse events and ensure safe product use.
• Attend and support Medical Affairs activities and scientific sessions.
• Provide peer coaching and leadership on projects.

Requirements

• Effective communication of scientific data to internal and external customers.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based scientific personnel.
• Ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders.
• Collaborative and team-based approach.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends.
• Advanced doctorate degree and pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Experience in Sleep Medicine or related fields is a plus.

Compensation

Base pay range: $152,000-$228,000. Additional benefits include annual cash bonus, equity grants, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plan, and flexible paid vacation.
