Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join Aldi's team in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a key leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of associates, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Establish and modify daily work schedules to meet warehouse needs.
- Oversee receiving, selection, and shipping of products to stores.
- Implement action plans to enhance operational efficiency.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead Warehouse Associate meetings and provide training for team development.
- Monitor and manage expenses to optimize operational efficiency.
- Identify and rectify hazards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders.
