1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi with competitive wages starting at up to $24.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and contribute to achieving budget goals.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies and communicate effectively.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
