Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and support budget goals.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate competency in ALDI Acts core competencies.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
