1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week at a starting wage of up to $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on shift and schedule differential pay. As a warehouse package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, loading and unloading merchandise, maintaining warehouse appearance and safety standards, and cooperating with peers and warehouse leadership to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Efficiently execute tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication and basic math skills.
