1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing products for shipment. You will collaborate with your team to maintain warehouse standards and contribute to achieving budgeted goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and cooperate with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and assist in achieving goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaborative teamwork.
• Adapt positively to challenges and changes.
• Deliver excellent performance and maintain efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
