1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Aldi is currently hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $20.75 - $26.75 per hour. The position requires working 1st Shift with a 7:00 AM start time.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Independently perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
