1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour. The role involves efficiently selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise within the warehouse, sorting and loading products for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and cooperate with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and assist in goal achievement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical environments.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
