1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and cooperate with peers and leadership.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic program procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
