1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, relocating merchandise, loading/unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise effectively.
• Clean the warehouse to meet appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to optimize warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, good communication skills, attention to detail, basic arithmetic skills, and work independently or in a team.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, operate equipment safely, and work in varying temperatures.
