1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. The 1st Shift begins at 8:00 AM. Various schedule options are available providing flexibility for different preferences.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic math, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
