1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking individuals for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load merchandise for shipment, and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general warehouse cleaning tasks and inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Independently make decisions within delegated responsibility.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to company standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
