Job Description
We are currently seeking Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently selecting and managing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. Your contribution will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to enhance communication and information exchange.
- Assist in inventory counts and provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
- Operate equipment according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Adhere to ergonomic programs and maintain compliance with ALDI standards.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical fitness to lift and maneuver products up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in various warehouse conditions.
