1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. The position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, varying based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st shift begins at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders
• Relocate merchandise in the warehouse according to handling guidelines
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues
• Other assigned tasks as required

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success
• Efficiently organizes and executes tasks with attention to detail
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills and basic math abilities
• Works well independently and in a team

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment
