1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling merchandise in our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. This position offers a starting wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour, based on the shift and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Conduct warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes and product quality.
• Work independently to achieve operational goals and comply with company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positivity, resilience, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic abilities and the capacity to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical work environments.
