1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores. Working in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks including stock selection, merchandise relocation, loading/unloading, cleaning, and inventory maintenance. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and product quality assessments.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 45 pounds, operating industrial equipment, and working in varying temperatures.
