1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $26.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, your responsibilities will include selecting and receiving incoming stock, organizing merchandise, loading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load merchandise for shipment, and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect and ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrates conscientious, positive, and collaborative behaviors.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
