1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule differential pay. The position involves various schedules, such as Schedule D and Schedule B, each with specific working days and off days.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect product quality and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk in varying temperatures.
