1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving and selecting incoming stock, organizing merchandise in preparation for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Organize and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Cooperate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Adaptable to changes and challenges.
• Driven to achieve success and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures in the warehouse.
