Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations are crucial in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, providing quality service to our increasing customer base. As a member of our warehouse team, you will participate in various tasks, including stock selection, merchandise relocation, order preparation, inventory management, and general warehouse maintenance.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varied temperatures and environments.
