1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking to hire a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As an integral part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Independently make decisions within your responsibilities.
• Support warehouse management in achieving goals.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks with adherence to standards.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, and carry items throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
