1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the ALDI team. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness. The role requires working 30-35 hours per week with the potential to earn up to $25.00 per hour based on shift differentials. Various schedules are available, including Schedule B, C, and D.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring strategic placement for efficient preparation.
• Clean and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with warehouse team.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and report safety or sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
