1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for various tasks, including stock selection, merchandise organization, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, inventory management, and collaboration with team members and leadership.

Average Hours:

Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$23.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to meet safety requirements.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds frequently.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, including cold and hot environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
